The SPACEHAB Government Services (SGS)
business unit, formerly Johnson Engineering (JE), expands
SPACEHAB's core business of supporting people living and
working in space... but
with feet firmly planted on the ground. SGS manages and supports
programs and activities on planet Earth that make possible
our ability to explore the cosmos and expand our knowledge.
Specifically, SGS has proven capabilities
supporting the Government in the areas of large-scale Configuration
and Data Management programs such as the International Space
Station; specialized hardware design, development, and fabrication;
low- to high-fidelity mockup design and construction; and safety
and quality support services. This SPACEHAB business unit offers
a wide array of products and services in these varied fields
and brings over thirty years of advanced ideas and solid execution
of these innovations to its customers.
