The SGS Configuration Management (CM) team is a vital participant in the development of NASA's International Space Station (ISS). Using a high level of skill and expertise, along with revolutionary concepts and innovations, SGS is an integral part of the total team responsible for final acceptance of ISS hardware and software that includes both the development contractors and the 16 International Partners.

CM focuses on the approved design and the configuration of the thousands upon thousands of hardware and software parts and components for the ISS by constant review of development processes and the status of progressing and constantly-changing activities.

Specifically, the CM functions currently provided to the customer are:
