SPACEHAB TO ANNOUNCE FISCAL 2004 SECOND QUARTER
FINANCIAL RESULTS ON FEBRUARY 5, 2004

Houston, Texas, January 29, 2004 - SPACEHAB, Incorporated (NASDAQ/NMS: SPAB), a leading provider of commercial space services, today announced that its second quarter fiscal year 2004 financial results will be released on Thursday, February 5, 2004 before market open.

SPACEHAB will host a conference call at 10:00 a.m. Central time following the earnings release.
