SPACEHAB TO ANNOUNCE THIRD QUARTER FISCAL 2003 FINANCIAL RESULTS ON MAY 8, 2003

Houston, Texas, May 2, 2003 – SPACEHAB, Incorporated (NASDAQ/NMS: SPAB), a leading provider of commercial space services, today announced that its third quarter 2003 financial results, ending March 31, 2003, will be released on Thursday, May 8, 2003 before market open.

SPACEHAB will host a conference call at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time following the earnings release.
