Enterprise Module could provide habitation service for ISS crew members

John M. “Mike” Lounge, SPACEHAB’s Senior Vice President for Space Engineering Services and Manager of the Enterprise commercial space station habitat program, briefed reporters in Washington, D.C., today on the status of the Enterprise project. Lounge reported that Enterprise could provide habitation service for International Space Station crew members as an interim option if a funding shortfall delays completion of the planned U.S. habitation module.
