SPACEHAB NAMES JULIA PULZONE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER Washington, D.C., February 14, 2000 - SPACEHAB, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAB) today announced that Julia A. Pulzone will join the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Pulzone, a 16-year veteran in corporate finance, succeeds Mark A. Kissman, who is leaving the company to serve as CFO for a company that is preparing to issue its initial public offering. Ms. Pulzone will oversee all SPACEHAB financing operations, including corporate finance, accounting, budgeting, regulatory compliance reporting and investor relations. Ms. Pulzone also will spearhead the company's financial strategies for mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Pulzone comes to SPACEHAB after three years as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Paragren Technologies, Inc. in Reston, Virginia, a leading provider of high performance marketing automation software. Paragren recently was acquired by Siebel Systems Inc. of San Mateo, California. Before joining Paragren, Ms. Pulzone served as Director of Accounting with AMISYS Managed Care Systems, Inc. (formerly NASDAQ: AMCS) in Rockville, Maryland. She also has served as Director of Financial Reporting and Taxes for Telos Corporation. Ms. Pulzone began her career with Price Waterhouse and Grant Thornton in Washington, D.C. A Certified Public Accountant, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Maryland at College Park.
