SPACEHAB NAMES EISELE DIRECTOR, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
Vienna, VA, June 5, 1998 SPACEHAB, Inc., (NASDAQ: SPAB), the global leader supporting
human activity in space and a major provider of support services
to manned and unmanned space payloads, announces the appointment
of Anne F. Eisele as Director, Corporate Communications. Eisele,
who reports to SPACEHAB President and Chief Operating Officer,
David A. Rossi, is responsible for media and public relations,
corporate identity and advertising, and supporting the company's
business and marketing strategies.
Eisele joins SPACEHAB following several years as an aerospace
journalist and multimedia project manager. Most recently, she
was a staff writer at the aerospace trade publication Space News,
where she was responsible for covering NASA, space policy and
commercial reusable launch vehicle development.
Rossi announced Eisele's senior management appointment June 5.

commercial space technology industry.
Prior to joining Space News, Eisele was a reporter for the Washington,
D.C.-based newsletters New Technology Week and Defense Week. She
also served as a researcher and multimedia project manager at
The Washington Post Co. and spent several years in Washington
and London researching European banking policy and business opportunities
for a Wall Street law firm.
Eisele holds a Master of Arts degree in Literature from the University
of London and Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and
English from Duke University.
