Mr.
Brian Harrington joined the SPACEHAB team in January 2004.
He brings a singular understanding and insight to his finance
role. His experience as former Senior Vice President
and CFO of the publicly traded Kirby Corporation, coupled
with his tenure as a financial consultant and manager, has
made him a valuable addition to the SPACEHAB executive staff.
While at Kirby Corporation, Mr. Harrington was instrumental
in the recasting of the former Kirby Exploration Company
into the largest domestic inland marine transporter of bulk
liquid commodities. His corporate and consulting achievements
also include acquisitions, bank financings, public and private
placement debt, public equity transactions, divestures, and
recapitalizations.
Mr. Harrington began his career in the U.S
Army, First Armored Division, where he served as Deputy Division
Finance Officer during the Viet Nam conflict. A Certified Public
Accountant, he holds a Master of Business Administration degree
from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Science degree
in Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
Mr. Harrington is also actively involved in many civic and social
